Originally from Port Pirie, South Australia, Jay moved to Melbourne to study production and continue to develop his craft as a songwriter. Jay writes melodies on the guitar first and then move to Ableton to create a production skeleton. The instrumental is created first, followed by vocals.

Jay's debut single 'October' was featured on Spotify playlist 'Deadly Beats'. His latest single 'Evenings' was also featured on this playlist and was recently added to the 'Blak Australia' playlist with over 20 thousand followers. As a member of Australia’s Indigenous community, with ancestors from the Eastern Arrernte language group, Jay feels honoured to be featured on these playlists.
