Verseary is the moniker of Victorian singer songwriter Chantelle Rogers.

Playing on and off around Melbourne for the last few years Verseary released a 2-track single in 2020 via Bandcamp called I’m sorry you feel that way including songs Because You Where and Last Dance.

A move back to regional Victoria last year during lockdown restrictions inspired new songs about the grass not necessarily being greener on the other side.

The new release A Fools Gold is a pun in regard to Chantelle’s hometown Bendigo. Its history being in the gold-rush era and the term being used for pyrite a mineral that looks like gold but is actually just a rock.
