Tram Cops, is the moniker for Melbourne based musician and producer Michael Vince Moin. Mike and his friends make music somewhere in-between 60’s psychedelic rock and 80’s synth pop - drawing particular inspiration from jazz, bossa, folk, pop and dance music. Tram Cops has cultivated a strong community around them, playing intense and engaging live shows, thus continuing to build upon what Triple J’s Tim Shiel described as a ‘cult following’.
Michael Vince Moin on Hometown:
“hometown is a song about a long, slow catharsis. it moves slowly and is reflective of a young man, coming to terms with his past and future. it was produced by longtime friend and collaborator noah riseley. hometown is an immaculately detailed song - listen close. it features cover art by bjenny montero.”
