Dougal James has spent the past few years gigging around Melbourne with Tram Cops and Hannah Kate. He’s also the songwriting force behind art rock outfit The Sunken Sea, who are poised to release their second EP in the coming months. Here’s the first taste of it.
“Breaking stereotypes of male stoicism and emotional distance, The Sunken Sea aim to make music that highlights emotional honesty and vulnerability,” says James. “(This song) is about taking responsibility for your actions, and the consequential loneliness that can take hold soon thereafter.”
