Here’s 5 tracks as chosen by Sydney rapper Yibby, following the release of his debut EP Lost In Translation earlier this month.

Stevie Wonder – For Once In My Life
My dad gave me a Stevie Wonder record he had with a lot of his classics and I couldn’t get it out of my head. Whenever I try to sing, I’m usually thinking about that Stevie record (laughs).
Ol’ Dirty Bastard – Got Your Money (feat. Kelis)
The way Ol’ Dirty Bastard would bring out his personality in his verses was something I couldn’t stop thinking about when making the project. This song especially stuck out, he’s wild and the blend of soul in the hook and production is tight.
Kanye West – FML
I had this on repeat the day I made “Folk”, the melody at the start of the record was so cool to me. When I did the hook for “Folk” the first time I did it with the same timing, we ended up speeding it up though (laughs).
Isaiah Rashad – Heavenly Father
Isaiah sounds so honest on this track and his songwriting and use of backing layers is crazy, that whole project so nice; this one made me want to make something vulnerable.
