Bruise Pristine are a three-piece alternative rock band from Sydney who draw influence from the likes of Placebo, Garbage and PJ Harvey. Their latest single, “Tired Eyes” is due for release Thursday 30 January, but you can be among the first to listen to it here, today.
“‘Tired Eyes’ is a song that’s about struggling to live up to societal expectations, and rebelling against societal expectations,” the band tells us. “It’s about having lots of ideas and ambitions but too little time or energy to see them through. It’s about going against the grain and feeling too depressed to get up and face the day. It’s about feeling paralysed by your own circumstances.”
